Been doing this self-improvement thing the last few months. Latest on the list is setting a bedtime so I get to sleep more consistently, and at a more reasonable hour. So far it's gone pretty well. In the few weeks I've been doing this I've only missed a couple of times, and when I do miss it's not by much. Been an adjustment, but hey more sleep is good and stuff, and having a bit more energy is a nice plus too.

So things like this get my curiosity going. Has anyone else set a bedtime for themselves? Do you stick to it? etc. (I'm assuming we're all old enough to have moved out by now. Or at minimum our parents let us make our own rules, so long we stay in the basement.)

Do you have a bedtime?
Yes, and I rarely stay up past it.:2 (6.7%)
Kinda yes: there's a time and I try, but I'm inconsistent.:11 (36.7%)
No, I go to sleep when I feel like it.:6 (20.0%)
I usually pass out in a drug/alcohol induced haze.:2 (6.7%)
Sleep is for the weak.:3 (10.0%)
Your limited options have failed to capture the extent of my feelings on this subject.:6 (20.0%)
Total:30

Now; I believe it's coffee time. Smiley: boozing

The worst thing to have is an inconsistent sleep schedule! My job loves to mess with peoples sleep schedules.

Usually two in the morning, up at about six. Sometimes I take a nap midday if I've been especially busy. It's kind of like a schedule.

4 hours of sleep explains so much about Gaxe.

We don't have a set time, but we're fairly consistent in going to bed within a certain time frame. Typically between 10-11pm.

I voted for the drugs, but it's really a toss-up between these two options for me. I have to take my Atripla every night on an empty stomach (One hour before eating, or two hours after), but it makes me drowsy so usually within 15 minutes of taking it I'm out regardless of how tired I feel. I try to have a snack (ice cream, some fruit, etc) around 10pm, then I take my pill around midnight or 1am...I shamefully watch TMZ and if I still havent passed out I find something on Netflix to pass out too.

I don't have a bedtime but I do have my alarm set every morning for however late/early I need to get up or for 9 AM (including weekend) so I don't **** up my sleeping schedule too much.

I try to go to bed no later than two in the afternoon. However, since it's currently 2:22, you can see how that's working out for me.

I'm fairly consistent. I go to bed between 10 and 10:30pm, maybe a little earlier if I'm getting up to run in the morning before work.

Usually around midnight. When I wake up depends on my work schedule. Oh, and what time my cat decides she wants outside too.

I go to sleep (as in get in bed) between 10-11pm. Now when I fall asleep is a different story. 6:30am comes fast, no matter what time I go to bed.

I go to bed between 11 and midnight and get up at 6:30am. I take a twenty-minute nap nearly everyday after work.

I used to easily stay up until midnight and beyond - even on work nights. But since I got old I get more tired.
