Ennio Morricone is a god, no doubt. The Ecstasy of Gold is an epic track.

My taste in my music changes from time to time, but I don't think I'll ever get tired of epic movie soundtracks. Hans Zimmer (especially his work with Lisa Gerrard), James Newton Howard, Clint Mansell (his stuff from The Fountain was amazing), Two Steps From Hell... epic music.

One of the first epic soundtracks I heard was from The Last of the Mohicans:

How is it not an issue? I don't know anyone that just goes around clicking on links without an idea of what to expect to pop up.

Then... don't click it? It's not some kind of jack-in-the-box that people have to click. If people don't like it when someone says "Here's a song I really like," then just don't click it. Don't get all butthurt that someone didn't spell out exactly what it was. Just move on.

Lets see, I've got a few to add to the pile

Injection - Hans Zimmer - From Mission Impossible II

Exhibit 13 - Blue man group

Crappy recording of the Dungeon Keeper II theme, but I can't find the full thing with the cool intro build anywhere except my private collection.

Hell March - Frank Klepeci (sp?) - Command and Conquer Red Alert

Aqua Vita

Pieces of the Descent II soundtrack one and two

Various hanz zimmer pieces. one of my favorites is Muteny from Crimson tide even though Can't spell muteny right.

This song, found in an anime, would not have been out of place in some kind of epic HD documentary,

I'll be honest, that was not at all what I was expecting. Whenever I see links to anime songs, I'm expecting this:

And oh god, it took me 20 minutes to find that video. I have no experience with upbeat anime songs or Asian languages, so I had no idea what to search for. YT kept leading me to K-pop.

Cannot... unhear... what has been heard.

The most intense fifteen minutes of violin music you will ever hear.

Edit: Oh good lord, they're using this as part of the soundtrack of Fifty Shades of Grey. Ralph Vaughan Williams is rolling over in his grave right now. Smiley: oyvey

They got away with Exit to Eden's sexytimes on the big screen by 1. turning it into a romantic comedy and 2. only filming the romantic sex scene. Anne Rice was not pleased.

This rare one from the Bebop soundtrack really does it for me. You don't hear a lot of brass arrangements of this style in media (where violin and piano are the mainstays).

Very sad song, but epic in its own way.
