Short Film I worked on in JanuaryFollow

That was pretty badass. They're doing another Punisher movie with the original guy? Or was this just a one-off?

We did this short as a fan film for practically no money. We paid for location permits and food, and that was about it. Pulled in every favor we could to get free equipment, luckily, I had a lot of favors to call in. (I work with the same director making commercials)

Thomas Jane would love to do another Punisher, if it was a good script, but mostly he just wanted to do a good short film because he loves the character.

Tim Bradstreet is a comic book artist, and he did all the covers for "Welcome Back, Frank" which is one of my favorite punisher stories ever. Garth Ennis is the man!!

my clients were mainly lawyers, judges and accountants. I had one CNN reporter.

Monkey - I have a friend who is a grip as well; actually a lot of friends in the industry in front of and behind the camera. Most though that I know work on horror movies or **** XD

The actors are all professional actors who signed SAG waivers to do the short, including Thomas Jane and Ron Perlman.

The Director was Phil Joanou, who has directed, among others, U2: Rattle and Hum, State of Grace, Three O'Clock High, and Entropy

The Director of Photography was Masanobu Takayanagi, who had just finished The Grey

The Fight Choreographer was Andy Cheng, who has done some stuff, too

We had some great people who honestly just all wanted to work together on something that was going to be good, and make sure that it WAS good.

We all just jumped in where ever anything needed to be done, it was a real team effort.

We shot on the Canon 5D, which is an amazing camera. We also shot this on the 5D. This, too!

Enough *** kissing, here's the only flaw I saw: That blood was way too cartoony for the look you were going for. I mean, for it to shoot out like that it would require blood pressure at the point of their hearts exploding, and that's assuming it was an artery that was severed in the first place.

Very nice!

I'm not particularly fond of the shaky cam effect, and it got a little too much in some of the scenes (in my opinion), but it still wasn't as bad as in some of the blockbuster movies, so whatever.

I like Thomas Jane's acting, but I must admit, I preferred Ray Stevenson's version of the Punisher (the movie was meh). Thomas Jane in this short, though, was an awesome Punisher. Brutal, but efficient. Reminded me more of Punisher: War Zone than The Punisher.

Would like to see more.

P.S. Can't believe the damn bottle didn't break.
