Things I recall from birthdays/summers past:

1969: Man sets foot on the moon (ok, this was 10 days later, but I totaly remember it)
1971: Moved into the then new housing at Ellsworth AFB
1972: 1st time into Rapid City after the flood killed 238 people June 9
1974: Spent a good deal of that summer freaking out from all the nuclear alerts.
1976: Moved into Rapid City. Dad bought me a telescoping fishing pole which was, like, the best thing ever
1980: 1st online game played. It was a text game called "88" where one input angle of attack for an anti-tank gun (phone cradle linked to SDSM&T HP mainframe)
1984: Qualified as a sharphooter with grenade Ft Leonard Wood, MO (missed shapshooter on M-16 by one shot, dammit)Smiley: mad
1987: DM'd a group through the "Demon Queen" series while in Job Corps. Super fun!
1991: 1st Birthday as an dad. You've seen my sons picture if you've been paying attention
1996: Introduced to MST3K. Thanks, Lonnie!
1997: Shroomed for the first time on the 4th. Yes, the light were very pretty. Remind me to tell you about the galactic cathedral some time.
2002: Birthday following divorce. Bummed that none of the fine ladies at bars will do sex at me. Get very, very drunk
2007: 1st summer working at the homeless shelter (still working there). Notice chronic depression has lifted. 1st posted on Alla's (Rating: Default)
2008: 1st DingTM thread. Allakhazam somehow fails to delete account
2009: Move into apartment after long stint working/living at the Mission. No internet at home. Learn to love Master of Magic again
2011: Co-worker from Mission moves in. Asocial tendancies recede
2012: Drunk, but happy drunk. Will spend time with friends later in the day. Oh, and my mom was in town for the weekend, so that was nice.

Are you as excited as Bruce Lee, Bijou?!

That's the year I was born, so given that your birthday is in July, that means your son is 6-18 months older than me. Wow, you ARE old.

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

Can't tell if trolling or not. I just clicked my link and it took me to a Bruce Lee image.

Let's try a different link.

Clear your cache/history and check again, I tried the first link from my phone and still get sent to the DoJ site. The second link works fine.

Yeah, I'm getting the DoJ link when I click the first one as well. It's really kinda weird. The second one works fine.

It is quite the show.

I went through Fort Leonard Wood for BNOC, and I can't imagine it was much better then than it was when I went there. Lost in the Woods indeed.
