I am so an over the roll person. I used to be a lot more **** (ha) about it when I was younger. Like if I was at someone else's house, and it was going under, I would fix it so that the paper was going over. I can restrain myself to not interfere with other people's toilet paper now though. Smiley: grin

And yay drunk Aeth!

Out is the only way, else it's rubbing up against the wall all the time, that can't be right.

Well, I find that if the toilet paper is particularly well-hung, I tend to sit down more than stand up.

I never realized there was a difference of opinion on the subject. I always assumed "under" rolled towels to be an indeliberate result.

It's round. It's rubbing against the wall regardless of orientation.

I had a roommate who had a cat that, if the T.P. was hung in the over orientation, would bat at the roll, until it had completely unravelled on to the floor.

I was trained from that to always do the under orientation.

Yeah, my cat used to do that when she was younger. She grew out of it though.

Always over. You get extra squares when you go under, and that is just a waste.

Definitely over, I find it easier to get hold of the end that way. Either my housemate or her boyfriend (possibly both) go for under so it's 50/50 whether I get my preferred orientation.

What I find much more of an issue is people who can't or won't put the toilet roll on a spring type holder (like this). They aren't hard to use and there is no need to leave the new toilet roll perched on top of the empty one.

I was raised an under man, but my ex-wife was an over *****, so I got re-trained to be an over. Even now that I'm divorced, I still do the over thing just because I was used to it for 4 years and under feels weird now.

In retrospect, when I found out she was an over I should have kicked her to the curb rather than adapt.

I use wet wipes. Too busy being awesome to care which way the wife sets the toilet paper.

I'm happy as long as the paper finds it's way onto the roller at some point. For some reason that's a problem around our place. Smiley: rolleyes

The one I have in my flat is a pain to use. It's not like that one, it's just a bit of plastic that can be bent weirdly (with a lot of force). I just let the cleaning staff do it.

I'm usually over. I don't care much, in my last flat we didn't even have a toilet roll holder and here we have a toilet showerhead (in fact, I have only that at work because I can't be bothered to carry toilet paper around with me everywhere).
It's awesome. They should have them everywhere...

Valium always used to make me slightly suicidal. No thanks.

On a more positive note, I've not "been on" anything but various forms of caffeine and nicotine since September (when I had beer).

They'll cost you an arm and a leg, and haggling with surgeons is worse than having your teeth pulled.

Yup. A regular teeth cleaning costs nearly $200 without insurance. ****, even at the health center at my school it cost around $50-$75, when a normal doctor visit only cost $15.
