As an aside, I decided a couple weeks ago to keep my politically-driven posting to a minimum for a bit. I've noticed in that time that Gbaji's posting has dropped to almost nil.

To OP: This is evidence of why one shouldn't take anyone seriously on this forum. People are just plain callow with faddish intentions. No matter how coherent, logical and/or sensible your posts are, people will ridicule them just for your stance, a previously unrelated stance and/or simply being you.
As hypocritical as it may seems, don't bother "taking advice" from anyone unless you're concerned about being accepted by "the cool kids". If you simply DGAF, then just be yourself. IMO, that's a much healthier solution.
