Especially when you cook some bacon, crumble it up in the syrup, and have bacon syrup on top of them.

Has anyone invented that in bottle form yet? I smell a marketing opportunity.

I don't see any products for sale that are just bacon-infused maple syrup, but there are many Maple/Bacon recipes out there.

Just bake a bacon pancake and add syrup to that? Why cook the bacon separately?

I like embedding the bacon inside the pancake, but you have to cook the bacon first.

I had some maple flavored bacon a while back. It came raw, but it was really meaty (not crispy, not fatty, really thick slices, but ******* perfect), and the maple flavor wasn't over powering at all, it was a really beautiful thing that I haven't been able to find in recent years.

And bacon+maple syrup is delicious.

I prefer it on waffles over pancakes, though.

I think Oscar Mayer sells it. It's always in stock at the local super market when I go there. I accidentally purchased it a couple times. It smells kind of strange when you first start heating it up, but after about 30 seconds it just smells like maple syrup. It's not a very overpowering smell/taste, but it's noticeable when cooking.

I just get the normal stuff though, I think there are 20 calories more per slice in the maple flavored one.

Blueberry pancakes are the ultimate form of pancakes. The trick is to make them from frozen blueberries. fresh ones tend to overcook.

I just don't like them together. I prefer sausage.

I love maple flavoured bacon, but hate maple syrup on my bacon and I always get it on my bacon when i have it with pancakes.

Ugly's right, it's a terrible mix. Frankly, this meme is really starting to wear on me.

Kind of like the whole zombie thing, I guess, though it's proving even more tenacious than the undead. It's an interesting phenomenon, really; by unspoken agreement, unfunny ********* everywhere declare something wacky and hilarious per se, and agree to laugh whenever someone references it in any way whatsoever. Long, humourless circle jerks follow.

I imagine this post will go down about as well as a bacon pancake.

For pancakes, sausage is the best. I prefer this type of sausage link, but they are hard to find for home use. I found a few, but they aren't as good as ones you get in a restaurant. I don't care for these ones when I want them with pancakes, the texture just doesn't work. The first one I linked just seems to work so much better when dipping in the excess syrup from the pancakes.

Blueberry or strawberry pancakes are the best. Theirs a restaurant in Bastrop Texas that serves you plate sized ones that are
worth making a trip for.
