I get my copy of Skyrim today! I ordered it off Amazon as soon as it came up for preorder. So frickin' excited! It should be here any minute. I just checked my shipping and it is in town, now just gotta wait for it to get here. I have played all the Elder Scrolls and this one looks better than all of them combined. You can kill dragons and get married and become a werewolf! The graphics look beautiful too.

No I was just referring to the fact that you get a heart container after every boss. I just forgot you don't have to pick up the container to finish the dungeon.

95% of the time they go RROD because the x-clamps (clamps holding the heat sinks in place) exert too much pressure on the board. The heat from playing for extended periods of time exacerbates this problem and the solder cracks due to the flexing. Based on your error code it's a simple issue of reflowing the correct component. It's really easy to fix them.
There's a $15 kit you can install, in addition to some sanding, that will basically keep a 360 from red ringing until the next generation of consoles come out (at least).

I've seen very few cases where it actually gives a primary error code. What you need to look for is the secondary code.
Hold down the sync button and press the eject button 4 times in a row slowly. A different amount of lights (the 4 sections of the power ring) will light up each time. 1=1, 2=2, 3=3, 4=0. The 4 digit code shown this way is the secondary code and will let you know what is the likely cause of the red ring.

I know the modern 360s are way better where the failure rates are concerned, but I'm still afraid to get one because of the RRoD.
