Since you're wondering, I just got a call from the vet since I dropped the dead puppy off this morning for an autopsy.

It was torsion of the small intestine, totally random and nothing I did. Makes me feel better.

I don't ever need to pay the client if a dog dies. It happens. I mean, I suppose if I kill one or something, but yeah. In fact, the client paid for the autopsy.

As for eating rocks, nope. None in the stools, and nothing but food stuffs in the puppy. Torsion happens with tight pedigrees. Hell, all types of **** happens with tight pedigrees. There's a history of it with this line, so I'm not totally surprised. The sire of this litter is actually having a a preventative operation soon to avoid it.

Do they have to pay you if their dog fUck something up?

If so, you have a pretty kickass deal going. I'm jealous.

It would really depend. In the case of Teddy, who killed my ducks, no, I didn't bill them.

Now if one the dogs ate a doghouse or something, yeah, I'd charge for that.

Either way, though, you should be jealous.
