I'm both(why wasnt there an option for that?).

I'm a follower up until I get to know the people I'm around. Among my friends I take charge a lot and pretty much lead the group.

I'm both. Anyone who defines himself as one or the other is likely not really good at either. There are times when you need to take lead on something. There are times when you need to follow someone else's lead. A team player knows when to do which and to what degree. Someone who insists on always being one or the other is either hindering effective work or limiting their own potential.

I'll agree with that, but I voted for leader because I do enjoy leading things more than I do following. I'm willing to do either, but I'd prefer to take the wheel.

I too hate that I agree with Gbaji, but I do on this case. I will say everyone will probably have a preference though. I prefer to follow, but if I need to take the lead, I can do so with little problems. And I usually turn into a real hardass when I become a leader (because if I'm leader, then somethings must have gone really off for me to be there).

I tend to be a behind the scenes leader. I try to encourage others to take the lead and I guide them from there. Once indecision arises, I step in. This is speaking from a management perspective.

On a personal level, I'm easy going and don't really care most of the time. I'll go along with just about anything, but as soon as people start getting indecisive, I again step in make the decisions.
