Oh please. Having a family may make things more expensive, but it's no excuse to not still have your vacations. Yeah, you'll have to do smaller vacations than high tailing it to the USVI for a month, but there is little to no reason to not still take a little comfort time out.

A week at Orlando with the kids will never rival a drunken week of debauchery on <insert favorite party beach here>. The style of vacation changes once you become part of a family. Certain options are no longer available to you.

Well, obviously, but Caldone makes it sound like his life is over because he "married too young." He made his choices, so he really shouldn't be that upset that he can't enjoy this other life.

Hence the "save your money" part of my post. Smiley: tongue

And, Stubs, having kids doesn't mean you can't take a drunken weekend somewhere. Just dump them off at the grandparents for the weekend.

I'd imagine if you were ready for said family and kids that it'd rival a drunken week.

Or there's that.. Most grandparents love having kids for the weekend.. Unless the grandparents are extremely old, the kids love it too because they get everything they want.. And then you of course get a drunken orgy with your wife :P

Yessir, hopefully I'll have taken over the island by then with my country boy ways. It'll be like Dukes of Hazard.. except I need something else to paint on my car since a rebel flag wouldn't be racist enough.

It's Puerto Ricans and "Creoles" down there.

Any suggestions?

This isn't racist, but "I was born into a wealthy family and all I got was this island" would probably **** some people off.

Could you draw that out for me in a Tribal format?

A Tribal design would be awesome 'cause no one else has one.

In the whole world.

That's true.

Maybe you can pave the entire island. That way, it would look like black tribal art from outer space.

It'd be tough to be a beach bum on a parking lot. Unless he was trying to be white trash.

I'll just bring in some black sand instead.

So much for being able to walk barefoot on it.
