I'm not happy here and have a chance to get out. How is this a bad decision?

You want to quit your job and take up this new one because you can be a lazy drunk, who's unemployed half the time. My mistake. That's brilliant.

You take things way too literally.

And it's not being unemployed.. it's the onshore version of working offshore pretty much, just without such a defined week-on/week-off schedule.

I tend to agree with Ugly. If you're not moving forward you're sliding backward.

Look at it this way. Better he goes and farts around in the Caribbean for a couple of years BEFORE he knocks up Betty Sue Tanorexic, right?

I suppose. I just don't think that going somewhere that he'll have even less responsibility is what Kaain needs, to be able to figure out what he wants in life. Unless of course, mommy cuts him off, but she could do that with him here too.

Kaain, you want to go, then go. But don't try and say its so you can figure out what you wanna do with your life while you're enjoying yourself, because you've done nothing but fuck around to this point in your life.

I'm not moving forward with this job either though. Well.. I am, but I don't want to be.

I really don't want to be in accounting/banking/business, but that's what my degrees lean towards. I'm just wasting my time right now anyways, so why not enjoy myself while I do it?

Not to say I don't enjoy all of my friends here, but I just don't like the type of lifestyle Mississippi offers.

I think he's basing that on your admission that you still don't have a clue what you want to do.

If it is something you want to do, do it, **** everybody else.

SOunds like a pretty decent place, though I envy you for being able to do so. Then again, getting married at 20 blows just about everything out of the water...

Move to a new state?

Moving out of the country to an island seems very very extreme.

If you don't like what Mississippi offers(who would?) maybe move to *insert appealing destination*.

I mean, if you want a beach, there is a lot of that here. Move to LA, New York, hell, move to Minnetonka.

Somebody sounds bitter about their life choices.

Divorce is always an option. Or suicide.

I hear suicide has less red tape for all involved, though.

Not bitter, just regretting getting married that early, because now that I am in a very well paying job, I would be able to afford to go on exotic vacations if I didn't have my family. I still havn't left the US other than 20 minutes spent in Canada to buy bread...

Yeah, but try to make it look like an accident for the insurance.

Hey Kaain, on an unrelated topic, I was wondering if you could settle something for me. What is the name of the street you live on. I don't want a city, state, house number or anything.

That's a lofty goal for someone who doesn't know what they want to do with their life.

True, I do party a lot and all that, but it doesn't affect my business life in the least. It actually pulls in more money.

Not knowing what I want to do at 23 means I've fUcked around?

As much as I dislike my life right now, I would never stoop as low as killing myself, sorry, even if it is for the betterment of the OoT.
