That's easy. Where chocolate fails, a rolled up newspaper reigns supreme. Bad woman! Make me dinner!

WTF, why is "raconteuse" not a word? Women aren't supposed to be witty and charming?

ooh, that's a good one! Well, here are some tips:

1. Park a little further away.
2. Take the stairs.
3. Go the long way around.
4. Carry something around for no reason.
5. Do it manually (whatever it is, heh).
6. Get an exercise ball to sit on while working at the computer or watching tv.

Anyone else got some?

Cherrish it, mine died unexpectedly this summer and I'd give just about anything to have one more visit with him. His father's day present is still in the freezer.

Find some other folks interested in training or classes in the community and set up a community babysitting trade-off group.

As much as I'm sure this sounds like a great solution, it really isn't. Caring for an autistic child is difficult especially if you haven't been around or trained to do so. Next is ABA and floortime therapies are normally taught as part of a master's degree program, and I don't even have a BS yet.

Ahh, I didn't realize your child was autistic. Well, do you have any interest in getting a B.S.? Do you actually care to be "certified" in the above therapies, or do you just want to learn them for personal enrichment?

Both actually. I plan on in the next few years going back and finishing a degree in early childhood education. It's just the more I see of my kid's classmates, the more it makes me want to give them what they need. It's a long process, but I'm sure one day it'll be worth it.

I like starting from scratch and experiencing something new. Of course.. you've got a few years on me and might be sick of it by now.

I'm starting all over again within the next six months (hopefully). So, no more spoiled brat Kaain Smiley: frown

Are you any good? You could start a video game blog.

1. Play games
2. Write about games
3. Something something
4. Profit!

Wait, your kid(s) in school now? Are you working while they're at school? If not, why not take a class now? Have you considered doing some of your coursework online?
