I hate phone conversations and that's what it felt like to me, with not being able to see anyones face. I'm also fairly quiet in groups anyway, plus I take a while to warm up to people.

My online persona is pretty close to who I am once I feel comfortable around people, but BT will probably take me some time to get comfortable with.

You're probably the only one on the planet who doesn't have his Skype at this point.

He's usually the one who starts the conference calls, so you may just want to add him.

That's because you have fun bags, while I don't. I know anything I say over skype is going to get thrown back at me here, so I just need to get comfortable with firing back. I need to find my headset too, I felt like I was yelling everytime I spoke.

I think most of BT's vitriol is directed towards the idiot population, of which you're not a member.

Oh please.. It has nothing to do with that. Some people may actually prefer if others don't give out their personal information. There is obviously a reason he didn't post it here.. So get over yourself as if you are some great person and I'm some sort of outcast.

Nagah is a regular participant in the fun, voluble conference calls. I don't mean to speak for her, but she's not missing much in the creepy, loud, flopsweat calls.

I'm not working out tonight so I'll try to get on. It's just been that I've been so busy and getting home around 9pm and not wanting to get on.

I don't want anyone to feel pressured to talk during any of the Skype group calls. You don't have to "perform" and you don't have to "entertain". Skype calls can be an end in themselves, or they can be pleasant background company while you are doing other things.

People are usually in the Allakhazam forum, net-surfing or playing a game whilst in on a skype group, so silences don't matter. We all are self-sufficient and multitasking in our amusements at the computer.

It's also my experience that most of us are different in a "phone type" setting to our posting personae on the board. It's just a natural adjustment, because the communication method is so different. Also we are in a less buffered environment when we are using real-time voices.

If you haven't been in on a skype yet, it's not like there is an organised OOT conference. Individuals just initiate them randomly, and build their own conference calls up. The groups can't get too big, or no one can get a word in edgewise. (The text chat-room adjunct can help with that, so that if you don't want to yell over other speakers, you can type what you want to say.) You have to start paying for skype if you want a group larger than 9.

I've only been in a few group calls so far. It changes over the call, but it's generally 4 to 5 people, sometimes as many as 7.

I'm with Nagah on this one. I know I'd be pissed if someone randomly started posting contact information for me on here, Skype or otherwise.

Not that it matters at this point, seeing as you've had it in your post for so long.

Normally I'd agree 100% with this, but seeing as how its Hellboy and he never had an issue with crossing boundaries on Anna, it's safe to assume he has no issue with his being posted. And if he does, I'm of the mind of "Too fucking bad". It should be removed, but considering his past actions, I don't think its really an issue. Although, Kao would likley expect it to be removed.

I don't really have anything to say to that, I agree with you, but still feel that putting someone's contact info out there is not cool, no matter who they are.

Yea, we're agreeing on this for the most part Bel. Only difference being I'm not all that bothered considering its Hellboy. It should be removed, I just don't care if it isn't.

See, I was just trying to get it changed so Hellboy had a choice in the matter. I wouldn't want anyone here posting my information, no matter if I'm willing to do it or not. It's definitely moot at this point. And I admit to getting pissy with Zack anyways because he acts like a regular when he's so not. :P

Add me and see when I'm on. I'm usually wandering around my filing cabinet while I'm home but I have a wireless headset for that.
