I am a big fan of Guinness and another darker ale that I can't quite remember the name of, it is bottled and had the picture of a goblin on the front label. Anyhow both are awesome.

No, that would be the Bud Light crowd I unfortunately hang out with.

Most of my friends have Narragansett Beer in their fridges. I guess it's OK, considering it's $3.50/6-pack.

I'm not a big beer drinker. If I'm working on getting wasted, I'm going to do it as quickly and with as little nast as possible.

My favorite alcoholic beverage would be 3/4 Chopin Vodka to 1/4 no-pulp orange juice.

Wychwood Hobgoblin a very good choice! As is their Scarecrow Ale, Circle Master.

How is that? I was going to grab some on the weekend, but I didn't want to break into my Laker fund to find out it tastes just as crappy as my cheap stuff, but costs twice as much.

It's not bad at all. I'd suggest picking up a 6-pack if you get the chance just to try it out. But then again, taste varies depending on who's drinking it...so maybe the better way to go would be to just order a bottle if you're in a restaurant or bar so that you're not spending too too much on a beer you might not like.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA is my current favorite.

Ahh I've been looking for a while for the 90 or 120 minute. All I can find is the 60 so far. Over the weekend I tried:

New Castle Brown Ale
Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale
Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale
Sam Adam's Honey Porter
St. Peter's Cream Stout
Peg Leg Imperial Stout
Stone IPA
and the best was the Stone Oaked Arrogant *******

Anything bolded is worth immediate pick-up and consumption for great justice.

I think me and Lurkin are on the road to a beautiful friendship. Nice picks!

I never knew they had a dark. Slim chance it could be worse than the normal Dos Equis.

I prefer cider to beer, due to the fact I have an unholy obsession with apples. I'll have to try this.

I need a good LIGHT Craft beer. All the stouts and pumpkin spiced beers lately have put a good 15lbs on me due to an increasing drinking problem.

Ugh, I was afraid that was the answer Smiley: frown

It's just so... so.... lackluster. I guess that's the word I should use.

It's drinkable, for sure, but meh.

Because cutting back on drinking is a completely unacceptable consideration for a drinking problem that is causing you to put on weight. Amirite? Smiley: lol
