shown what the original or the recreation? i have seen the exhibit when it came to the US back in the 80's was a fantastic exhibit and i have enjoyed that kind of stuff since.

i have never seen a recreation of king tuts face before though. i have seen "computer" generated this is what he could look like after taking x-rays of his skull, but i was unaware that they had removed the bandages of his mummy before now.

There have been a couple of documentaries on Tut on the Nat. Geo. channel where they showed the scientists opening up the actual coffin and examining the remains, particularly the skull and the back side of it to determine if may have been killed by blunt force trauma, and if they could tell what kind. I don't remember the conclusion of the show; I just remember that they showed the actual remains very clearly.

ahh yes, thank you for reminding me. i do remember the one(s) talking about how it may of been tuts adviser who killed him with an ads(sp?)
