Ridiculous censorshipFollow

I personally dont listen to the radio anymore. Its pretty pointless since the 5 songs all the stations play are the "edited" or "radio safe" versions.

What I find funny is that in a country where we all use profanity and we use it alot, dont kid yourself. (If you think its just teens your wrong. Everyone of every age uses it all the time.) We censor the crap out of stuff.

Seriously there is no real point in censoring radio as most kids by the age of 5 have heard it all. I can understand cencoring images and such but songs and the like are stupid. Most people just like the tunes and dont take them seriously.

This holds the same value as my post above yours does. If you can pick it up with a stereo over the airwaves, the FCC holds strict regulations. Which is why there has been "Radio Versions" playing on radio for forever and a day. And is why Satellite Radio can get away with cussing on its broadcasts. Because not everyone can pick it up.

The FCC put these regulations into effect for all Radio/TV signals that can be picked up by anyone for a reason. Not to punish listeners/viewers, but to provide as clean of entertainment as possible to those who cannot afford Cable/Satellite(TV & Radio).

What's next, you going to ***** about how every TV station(local) in the land is forced to provide childrens programming a few hours every weekend??? Is it not RL enough for you??? Because essentially that's the same thing kid.

If you want to hear cussing in your music or on your TV might I suggest buying Satellite TV/Radio so you can enjoy your entertainment the way you want to?!

Because like I said to the other person complaining about a general public broadcasting station.....

What you are complaining about doesn't have anything to do with the OP, as your local Radio Station and MTV have to follow different FCC regulations!!! Plain and Simple.

And why would you want to listen to the Radio anyways?, it sucks and has for the past 10 years. Eh actually it's sucked for the past 20 years(at least). I never plug my antenna into my car stereo, because the radio sucks. Though the Classic Rock stations occasionally have their moments.

I also find it funny that MTV has to censor words out of music videos, but E! can air stuff like Girl Next Door about Playboy bunnies and only edits nudity down to blurred nipples.
