Hitting the fifth fret really threw me for a loop when I first started playing it on Hard.

This wasn't really a problem for me after a few tries.

What really threw me for a loop was went I went up to expert, and had to start using all sorts of different hand positions for different parts.

That and trying to master pull-offs on the first game...

I just want to say that Stricken and Through the Fire and the Flame make my hands want to commit suicide so that the pain will stop. /emo hands: On

I've beaten everything on Expert except Through the Fire and Flames. Which is frustrating, because I know I could get through it if I could only manage to beat the goddamn intro. I'm slowly working my way through it, learning how to tap it from Slowest to Full Speed. Tapping is the process of using both hands on the neck of the guitar, and strumming with your elbow. (you should only have to strum once for the entire intro)

Anyways, if anyone is interested, I'm up for playing Co-Op or Pro Face-Off anytime. Battle mode is just horrendous, you'll all know why when you get around to facing off against Lou on Expert; it's entirely based on luck. I got extremely lucky and was able to take him down on my second try, but I've heard horror stories of people that have faced off against him for five freakin' hours with no result. True enough, I haven't been able to beat him since that one time.

My favorite song by far is Knights of Cydonia, it's about a third of the reason I'm opting to buy both GH3 and Rock Band. It's just loads of fun to play, and for an added bonus I'm really good at it, I have yet to lose it when playing online. Smiley: grin

I'll play Co-Op anytime, but i'm still working my way through Hard. I can 98-100% everything on Medium though.
