I know there are a lot of football fans that play this game. And this football game is going to be great. Its like a mini-Superbowl.

So who do you think is going to win?

Personally, I wouldn't **** on Peyton Manning if he was on fire. This is only because the Colts rock our division every year, and I'm tired of seeing Peyton on my TV in every dang commercial. So myself, and most I have talked to, are picking the Patriots over the Colts. I'm thinking six points.

BTW, if you live in Houston, good luck watching the game. It will be blacked out here because the Texans are playing at the same time and both are being carrried by CBS. Hope to see you at the bar.

EDIT: Fixed spelling of PEYTON.

My COLTS win by 12 points. BTW I live in Mass., and there is nothing harder than being a Colts fan in Pats territory, unless of course your a Yankees fan in Sox land.

Pats are on fire, no doubt... but I'm going to have to say Indy.

Manning tends to break the game open, unlike his crap @ss brother Elly. I did not like him from college draft "I don't want to go to this team ...boo hoo"

Oh right... off track.

Colts... by 2 TDs

There's no doubt it's going to be a good, charged, exciting game. Pat's are hot right now. There's a few factors in this de facto mid-season Superbowl that I think are going to play a big part:

1. Pats haven't had their Bye week yet, so they're not only charged up from their aggressive winning streak...they're also fresh off the field from 8 weeks of non-stop bulldozing. This is going to be a beneficial thing for them from a psychological point of view. They're amped up, and they're looking at this game as a do-or-die point. This is The big game in their schedule, aside from the upcoming Pittsburgh game.

2. Colts have had their Bye already, so they've had rest time, as well as a hot winning streak. They haven't been "bulldozing" the way the Pat's have, although they have had some good high scoring games. But when don't they? It's going to boil down to Peyton finding a way to pass against the Pat's vastly-superior secondary and extremely experienced linebacker core. The Pat's LB's are fast, smart, and they know Peyton. I think he's going to have a hard time passing...which puts the Colts on the ground a lot more than usual.

3. If Colts are on the ground, you have to wonder if Bill's been keeping Seymour fresh (aside from I think about 90 snaps last Sunday) specifically for this and other late-season games. With Seymour back on the D's front, Colts aren't going to be running much either.

4. Colts need to find a way to shut down Welker and Moss. This is key...but IMO it's not going to happen. Moss can grab anything, and Brady can put it wherever he needs to to make it happen, which is exactly why Moss & Brady have been so dangerous. Welker's just too fast and too good of a slot receiver, and taking passes from Brady makes him a force to be reckoned with. Consider that and the fact that Welker is not a player that's scared to take a hit...he makes catches even when most receivers don't.

5. The biggest problem for the Pat's is the lack of healthy RB's. They always have Faulk, but he's more productive from a 3DRB perspective. Put him in on every play, and you wear him down and he's no good for powerful 3rd down plays like the Pat's favorite play-action screens. If Maroney isn't consistant this week, with Sammy Morris out...it's going to be a problem. But they're offensive juggernauts regardless...last weeks game is a testament to that.

I'm a Pat's fan, but I'm trying to give the Colts equal ground. Trying to be unbias....I'm thinking a 3-6 point game. As a Pat's fan...IMO Peyton tends to make bad decisions in big games like this. So we'll see...

Indy has the better defense this year, and the Pats have the better offense. Roles have been reversed, and in 2004 when Manning was going crazy with TD's, Indy only scored 3 points in the game vs the Pats. IMO the best defense is going to win this. You can stop the Brady-Moss connection the same way that people stop the Manning-Harrison/Wayne connection, its called pass rush defense. The teams are almost equal in everything except for Brady chasing the TD record.

Manning=Brady
Moss=Harrison
Wayne=Welker
R.Harrison=B. Sanders

Pats have a better LB core but the Colts lead the league on rushing TD's. The colts defense is a little better than the Pats and Indy is ranked high in pass def (3rd). This game will come down to who played the best D, and who made the least amount of mistakes. Lets not forget the Pats have fallen 3 times in a row to the Colts. And the fact that Colts opponents are only have 5% comp. after 20 yards.

I'm a huge Michigan fan, so I always tend to pull for Michigan players in the NFL. And I have cheered for Tom Brady since college obviously so I usually just cheer for the pats. Though I'm not a pats fan, I just like to see Tom do well.

I do think the pats win, however its going to a close game. The colts are just as good and I'm not a fan of either team so I just pull for the Michigan alumni.

On a side note I was completely right about Braylon Edwards having a break out year.

Go Michigan!!

(Yes I make everything football about Michigan, and feel free to comment about App state and Oregon I've heard it all already anyway.)

Until proven otherwise, I think the Pats are the team to beat. Don't get me wrong, the Colts are great (as witnessed last week by a die hard Panther's fan). However, the Pats are clicking during all 4 quarters, while the Colts appear to be a second half team.

True, but the Patriots "offense" is a much different machine than it was then. In past games, Brady didn't have a lot of weapons so choose from. They had Dillon who was consistent with his carries, but he didn't really have the steam Maroney & Morris (and Faulk) have.

I won't even compare the receivers now to then. While I give much respect to the old receiving core Brady had, they just are not what he has now. In football, you work with what you "know" about a team to defeat them. No one has expected a Patriots bulldozer and don't know how to prepare for it based on past experiences. While I do think it will be a close game, it's going to tilt in the Pats favor because frankly...the 2007 Pats offense is so drastically different from the 2006 Pats offense that it's going to hit Dungy, the rest of the coaching staff, and the players of the Colts like a ton of bricks.

It will be a defensive struggle...but the thing to remember is even with defensive games, the offense is what the D is fighting against. So it's as much an Offensive comparison, if not less of a D-stat comparison.

I would say Welker is closer to Dallas Clark than Wayne. Wayne is every bit, if not more than, talented as Harrison. The Pats have improved their receiving core greatly, but top to bottom the Colts have the BEST core in the league.

It is going to be a great game, and I will be cheering my heart out for the Colts. That being said, I don't know if they will have what it takes to take them down.

Having Senji, Caldone and Rimesume as fans is almost enough to make me stop rooting for the Vikings.

Being in Washington I can only say that the Steelers suck major ****. If they beat the Pats, I'll have to look into who they paid off this time.

I'm just glad my team has a bye and can't lose this week (Miami Dolphins). As far as the game goes I would love for it to be real close and exciting, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a big letdown with the Patriots winning easily.
