I'm not arguing if they were pivotal or not. I have no friggin' clue. I was just agreeing that they were there.
I'm not sure though if pink robots who turn into crotch rockets was exactly a defining moment for woman's liberation.

I never wanted to do Arcee. What was weird was that Daniel did in season 4. Ugh. I don't know if it's worse that she wanted him too. The kid was like 12 for Christ's sake.

To be honest I really did want more from the movie. I wasn't expecting it to be more than a typical action movie, but I still wanted more.
I wanted more transformers and less horny little teenager; more personality from the autobots and less cheesy comic relief.
Maybe I will pin my dreams on a future Beast Wars movie.

The Autobots-Hiding-Outside-The-House scene went on long enough to become painful. "Haha! He stepped on a birdbath! Hilarious!"
It was a fun movie to see in the theaters and I felt it was money well spent but the movie wasn't exactly something that stood on the merits of its plot or acting. Less plot, more robots fighting, plzkkthx~la

I agree that it could've used more Transformer time, but those /drool worthy ladies didn't have enough air time either. But.. I'm an over-harmoned (read: also signifies loss of intelligence) young man, so my opinion matters very little.
