Will the Earth give out before humanity is done with it?Follow

Quote:
The human population of planet Earth is, in effect, maxed out on its credit cards and soon will have problems paying the mortgage. Unless concerted global efforts are made to address these mounting problems, GEO-4 concludes that we shall shortly pass the point of no return.

Smiley: disappointed Makes me wonder what kind of world my grandkids will grow up in. Here in Nebraska (read: in the middle of no-where) a lot of those problems seem very far away. We recycle, conserve gas by taking only one car to work, and try to do whatever we can but this report seems to indicate that sweeping changes are needed if there is to be a turnaround.

For starters, Americans could buy cars that actually run more than a mile on a gallon. Next you could switch off the lights in Las Vegas once or twice a year.

And use less paper when you've been on the toilet...

Exactly. It's not just America. It's like a fad for Europeans to hate Americans.

No, it's not. It's a French/British fad.

Leave them out of the European talk.

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

Earth will remain long after human beings provided some sort of cataclysmic catastrophe such as the sun exploding, a massive (at least 2/3rds the size of Earth) meteor hitting it, Jessica Simpson gets another television show, or N'sync making another album doesn't happen.

My car is as big as all outdoors. I never drive it with the fuel-guzzler off.

Doesn't matter many people it seats when you only drive in it yourself.

My lasting impression of America was the vast amount of huge cars capable of driving a family of 10 driven by someone clearly going to work on their own.

Why don't we just hurry up and build skynet already and solve the problem once and for all?

Stubs, I just rated you down because other than the quote from Rodney, your sig is extremely pathetic.

I figured you'd want to know.

We need all that extra space to accommodate our large dongs. Not that I would expect anyone from UK to understand.

commodate =/= accommodate.

Hey now, my pee in the sink suggestion was serious. It will conserve water.
