I have been lisiting to the music for like the past 2 hours on YouTube.

I never realized that most of the songs I liked back when I was younger were by them. And am I the only one that thinks Corgan is one of the most creepy looking guys you have ever seen, his eyes creep me the hell out.

I should not have wasted my food money and bought ticketts to VooDoo fest this year. Damn food.

While I generally keep an open mind, anything you say about music has been invalidated by not only listening to ICP , but naming yourself after them.
You could tell me that you think my favorite bands all rock , and then I'd go get new favorite bands . It is that simple.

First off , how does ******* someone's mother, giving props to your homies, and then coming out acting like you follow jesus on the wraith (Like I said , I keep an open mind, I even have listened to garbage all the way through just so I can go "wow that is garbage") help you through anything? honestly.

Second, who said I liked Emo ?

Lastly , I named myself after my race, job, and preferred craft off a MMO game on a MMO game forum. how could I have been so stupid D: ?

ICP is just swearing and offensiveness delivered in the most annoying way possible

Kids and their music these days Smiley: oyvey

I had to Google ICP, and am still not sure if it stands for the Industrial Computer Products or the International Centre of Photography.

Anyway, I saw Smashing Pumpkins at the Wembly Arena in '97 and they were fUcking awesome. That's right, in '97, back when they were cool and innovative, as opposed to washed-up middle-aged rock stars living off the two good albums they made way-back in their career.

Older ICP up to The Amazing Jeckel Brothers makes me giggle a little.
I sorta lost interest in them after that, and for the life of me, I don't even know where those CD's are.
Also, LosbsterJohnson would have sex with anything that moves and has a hole.

I just kicked the crap out of Cherub Rock in Guitar Hero 3. It was satisfying. Also, incredibly easy on expert.

I'm not even going to try. I watched the videos. How do you even turn that song into that impossible, button flailing mess?

I cried when I watched that the first time around. Now people have to suffer through it to leave me a voice mail. Must be why nobody calls me.

I'm still pissed i missed seeing SP in concert back in the day. However i would make an argument that even in 97 they had already started to fall apart.

This periless freefall into SUC was foreshadowed by their album Melancholy and the Infinate Sadness which, while it was pretty good, definitely could have been one CD. Also, WTF was with letting James Iha (sp) put his brand of sh*t on the album.

Never liked Adore or Machina. I gave the new album a spin but the single was the only good track on it.

Pisces Iscariot and Siamese Dream FTW.

Also the Airplane Flies High box set had some REALLY good B-sides on it, the box set's name sake particularly.

Oh boy, time to open this can of worms!

The Smashing Pumpkins were my favorite band when I was younger. It was sad, all the girls in my class loved Hanson and I loved Billy Corgan and Trent Reznor. I was fortunate enough to see SP in concert back in 1996 and in 2000, and they were both totally awesome concerts.

Anyway, although I like listening to them to feel nostalgic still, their last album left a bad taste in my mouth...it reeks of commericalism and a feeble attempt to gain a new, "younger" audience whilst isolating the older fans. That, I can't agree with and because of that had a hard time liking "Zeitgeist". This doesn't mean that I don't still love all the old music or feel that Billy Corgan is an extremely talented songwriter and musician, though. I saw someone mention TAFH box set...some of my favorite material is on there. I swear the Pumpkins have more B-sides than any band I have ever seen, and they're all good.

Basically, Tool's "Lateralus" came out in 2001 and helped me to redefinine a lot of the ways I view music and the artists I like, too. Now, I think I like "Gish" the best, by the Pumpkins. I would call Tool my "favorite" band now, although I feel a bit silly using that term.
