We have one here every year, last year sucked though, they could not book the Blue Angles in time and the ThunderBirds claimed New Orleans was not up to Air Force standards to come. So, our planes did the main show, it was cool but not what people came to see, they did a fuax bombing run and simulated what happens when they provide cover for an extraction for a downed Helo in a battle zone. Lots of badda-booms and helo's and F-18's going fast and stuff.

Not as impressive? To any sailor or seaman, that picture fills them with a thousand times more awe than any military aircraft. (Even though the military has used Sea Kings at times)

The people who serve on those birds, the lives saved by those birds, the joy of seeing that big fat bloated air cow come over the steerhouse roof with our saviour hanging from beneath like this insane hollywood hero wannabe...

No F22 can ever be as impressive as the Seaking and it's crew.

Thanks to working with the Hornet, Super Hornet, and their respective engines (F404 and F414) I've learned to hate those aircraft.

Thanks Jack, now my acid reflux is acting up. I certainly hope Hell has a special place reserved for you.

As I recall there was only 2 pics with a Hornet in them. And they were labled as such, twas your own damn fault for clicking them.

And that is the reason I am going to T-56's on the C-130, I am moving the 4th or 5th of November I havent decided yet.
