Wow, there's actually some good music listed above me. Usually these threads just list tripe that is passing for music today. (Get off my lawn!) I'm not listening to any music right now so instead I'll pick five from above that would be on my playlist::

  • Echoes - Pink Floyd
  • John the Fisherman ~ Primus
  • Achilles Last Stand ~ Led Zeppelin
  • The Gates of Delirium - Yes
  • Thelonious Monk - Well, You Needn't

Thelonious Monk -- I absolutely love 'Round Midnight.

Rate-up for John The Fisherman, Les Claypool is an amazing bassist and it's my favorite rock drum intro of all time.

Your Bore-Seether
Bodies-Drowning Pool
Full Circle-Drowning Pool
The Baying Of The Hounds-Opeth
Need-At The Gayes

A common misconception is that The Cure or The Clash has covered and/or written the song. They have in fact done no such thing.

Not to be a total ****, but looking at everyone's lists, Why does it feel like
Men > Women at music ? :x
Sure you have some girl bands (paramore) popping up here and there, but save for solo artists, I have very little (by comparison) wiminz music on my entire list. I was just wondering what other people thought about that.

Oh I have some like women artists.
Like Blondie, The Divynls, Sinnead O'Connor etc.

But as i listen to a mostly male dominated music genre (metal/hardcore etc), there isn't really much women music to choose from. Apart from like Kittie and Arch Enemy (Seeing them next week with Machine Head! Woot \m/)

Just gotta try different styles of music for Womens.
