What's everybody listening to? The next five tracks on my playlist are:

Charles Mingus - Haitian Fight Song
John Coltrane - Giant Steps
Miles Davis - All Blues
Thelonious Monk - Well, You Needn't
Sonny Rollins - St. Thomas

Apparently it's jazz tiem for me.

Am I the only one who just listens to his complete list of music? No playlists or anything created, I usually just go random Smiley: lol

Seriously. What's with the lack of creativity here any more. At least 10% of all OOT posts these days are "What are you listening to now, or soon?" type threads. It's getting old. And not entertaining. Smiley: mad

I usually hit "Randomize List" in Winamp, so I can see what's coming on next.

Thats what I normally do. Although I have everything in a playlist (sorted by author and title name) for easy access, but the playlist plays random (shuffled) songs.

My iTunes is on shuffle and those I just listed are the next 5.

I say 'shuffle' but it's not truly a shuffle of everything in my library, it's a shuffle within a playlist of my 500 favourite songs. So I get variety and I don't have to listen to shit

Not the same thing, but I digress.

I'm currently listening to the very album noted in said thread on holiday music, FYI.

Wow, there's actually some good music listed above me. Usually these threads just list tripe that is passing for music today. (Get off my lawn!) I'm not listening to any music right now so instead I'll pick five from above that would be on my playlist::

  • Echoes - Pink Floyd
  • John the Fisherman ~ Primus
  • Achilles Last Stand ~ Led Zeppelin
  • The Gates of Delirium - Yes
  • Thelonious Monk - Well, You Needn't

Thelonious Monk -- I absolutely love 'Round Midnight.

All of my MP3 player music is in a single folder labeled "Music". I hit "Random" and go.

The Januaries - Juliette
Joan Jett & the Blackhearts - I Love Rock & Roll
Holly Cole - Blame It On My Youth
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
The Searchers - Needles & Pins

The ole player is apparently not rocking it out to today's greatest hits this afternoon.

If I was Flea, I'd totally do you. It's because I know you're tender and a good lover from your random list.

Dear Sergio - Streetlight Manifesto.
Every New Day - Five Iron Frenzy.
Beer - Reel Big Fish.
Unity - Reel Big Fish (Operation Ivy cover)
She Has a Girlfriend Now - Reel Big Fish.

I love RBF's live album, and I have my playlist on shuffle too, but those were the songs I had on the list after Streetlight Manifesto's CD.

I still prefer Catch-22 to Streetlight Manifesto. Even after the vocalist changes.

Nonpoint - In The Air Tonight (cover) and Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight
Razed in Black - I Want Candy (cover) and Apoptygma Berzerk - Coma White (cover)
Placebo - Sleeping with Ghosts and Every You and Every Me
A Perfect Circle - Imagine (cover) and Pet
Tool - The Pot and Jambi

I have one ear-bud in from my iPod and the speakers on my PC with a bad case of musical dyslexia. I can't listen to one song/medium at a time, and each song I generally change to the next one about 2 to 4 minutes through (depending on the length of the song.)

A little piece of information for anyone that's heard Razed in Black/used to watch YTV, filipino PJ Fresh Phil from YTV is now known as Phil Guerrero, their lead guitarist. =D

Also, Maynard is one of the only 5 guys I would happily have sex with, and it's all because of his voice. Dripping with awesome.
