A bad thing turned good...Follow

So, my dad recently got a new job that has relocated him from Oklahoma City to Kansas City. He asked if I could take a few days off work to drive down and help him pack boxes so they wouldn't have to have the movers do it.... I enjoy spending time with my dad, so I say Yes.

Today he calls... Plans have changed... now he wants me to fly down to OKC (They'll pay), help pack boxes and then drive some of said boxes and other stuff from OKC to Omaha (Where I am, and they own a motel). 'Crap' I'm thinking to myself, I really don't want to drive 10 hours in a moving truck in what would normally be a 7 hour drive in my car... by myself because my wife isn't going to be able to fly down.

Then he says this "I figured out how to get the Pool table taken down, so you can have that for payment"... in this moment, what seemed like a crappy thing turned into a wonderful thing. I get a practically new $2000 pool table for free, and just have to pay someone to set it up for me when I get my basement finished, and my dad isn't going to have to pay 12 grand to move now...

of course there are no direct flights from Omaha to OKC, so I get to route through Denver... which always sucks...

Raisins aren't bad... as long as they're the kind that come with little sugar on them... other then that, I can't eat them plain.

DIA is just not that bad.

And I rather enjoy all manner of dehydrated fruits.

I guess DIA isn't that bad... I've only been there once.. but it's turning what would be a 1.5 hour flight into a 6 hour flight.

Did you know that if you put raisins in a glass of champaigne then the raisins will float from top to bottom continuously.

My ******* kind of looks like a big, flesh-colored raisin. Not one of those wimpy ones, though, I'm talking a Raisin Bran raisin. Mostly because I've sprinkled it with sticky sugar.

Mental note: if I ever have breakfast at BT's house, I should pour the milk myself.

Incorrect ma'am. You have to drop the raisin into a champagne bottle, reseal it, then shake the hell out of it for that to work Smiley: schooled

Obviously you need to stop being wrong so often, Kaain. Here are a few little tips that I think will help you:

1) If Mindel says it, it's right.
2) If you say it and Mindel agrees, it's right.
3) If you say it and Mindel is neutral, it doesn't matter.
4) If you say it and Mindel disagrees, it's wrong.
5) If you don't know what Mindel thinks about a subject, it's okay to ask her what your opinion should be.

Someone rated down my *******.

In the future, I'd like to remind whoever did this that jealousy is green, like an upward facing arrow.
