That Movie: What was it called? Follow

I know, the title is retarded...

Basically, i'm looking for a movie title.
The title, i thought, was "pi" (the mathematical symbol, not the letters "P" and "i").

However, i was wrong, as Pi was another movie i had seen.

This movie, is black and white but not too terribly old (if i remember correctly, it's been a while), and started with a group of friends. Basically, they built this machine that was supposed to do...."something".

And in a science project, they put a container into this machine, and when they pulled the container out a few hours (or a day) later, it had a lot of mold in it. So they were wondering where the mold came from, took it to a science lab with another friend there, and the friend told them that the mold was a year old (or something along those lines, it could have been a month)...

Grr, trying to remember. I watched it with my wife a few years ago.

Anyway, it turns out that they had inadvertently created a "time machine", so what they did was rented one of those A-1 storage units (those having been to america know what im talking about...no garage, so rent a space and toss your crap in it). Inside the A-1 unit they had their new machine they built, that could fit a person.

The characters would climb inside, go to sleep with the hum of the machinery, and when they woke up they'd be in the past.

It was pretty clever, but i wanted to watch it again (i let someone borrow the dvd, and he has since lost contact with me).

Anyone know what it was called?

Damn, I saw that movie quite recently. Are you sure it was Black and White? That storage unit, the machine, the mold. I've seen it all, but it wasn't in black and white. Actually a quite good movie, but I don't think I turned on the TV in time to see the title of it, sorry.

The movie is not in black and white, it's called Primer, terribly good flick.

I could have sworn it was black and white, but because i was thinking of (Pi), that's problably what spawned that.

now while waiting for my daughter to get her almost-two-year-old butt into bed tonight in time for Friday Night FFXI addiction with Beer and Sushi, i can watch this.

I'm not sure what caused it. Maybe it was that CNN report on teleportation. Which was awesome btw. Here's a link ^^

What's the movie about, and is it any good? I'd look it up, but on a windows 2k machine that has no tabbed browsing, where firefox isn't allowed, and having a boss sitting next to you while you're supposed to be custom coding WebParts and creating custom lists in Sharepoint...windows splattering my screen isnt a good idea ^^

It's a comedy. About this guy (Played by the guy who plays Mr. Bean), Who trys to scam his friends into making them believe he has a time machine. Then when they go into the Time machine, it actually works. Which leads them to go on a travel through time to get all the Stuff the promised to get for them. I liked it.

I haven't even heard of that Black Adder movie. I've watched the series, but this movie was news to me. Think I'm going to see if I can't find it somewhere, since Black Adder in general makes me laugh hysterically at times.

Heh, just watched the first part. This promises to be full of lulz.

And that's for schoolchildren everywhere for the next four hundred years!

Yeah, this is one of the better Blackadder shows I've seen.

Downloading Primer right now...damned rat ******* "friend" has done lulz'd off with my only copy...grrr

Primer was cool. But in terms of those weird off the wall movies, I like Cube. Suspenseful and intriguing at the same time, truly nothing could be better. If you haven't seen it, you totally should.

Cube is the BOMB!!! I watched all 3 (? might have been just two) sequels too.

For some reason, this thread reminds me of Requiem for a Dream.
