He plays Vanguard, Kaain.

Even Vanguard requires an IQ above 59. I think...

My puppeh types more coherent sentences when he tackles me and falls over on the keyboard.

That reminded me of the time my cat fell onto my keyboard as I was explaining a boss strat.

My guild assumed I'd had a stroke, I think.

I'm starting up FFXI again tonight and I'm worried about my dog Smiley: lol

My computer's only about a foot off the ground, 'cause I like sitting on the floor with my back against the couch to play. He'll get bored and walk over to me (his back is taller than me if I'm sitting down) and slooooowwwlly get his face as close to mine as possible without me noticing, bark, then hit probably 6-7 keys with snowshoe sized paws.

He's a *******.

Smiley: laugh My dog does that too, except instead of barking, he usually just gives me a nice long lick from chin to forehead.

What kind of dog do you have Kaain? Mine is about 130 lbs and is taller than me when he stands up. He has barked into the WoW voice chat before and I have been muted by other players because of it.

A Great Dane. This is him at a little less that 4 months old.

Screenshot

He's about 7 months old now and almost twice the size. He's gonna be a monster.

Yeah Smiley: crymore I think Dane's average lifespan is 8 years or so, max.

I'm hoping his isn't cut shorter due to him being a good bit larger than a regular Dane. He has some special bloodline in him that makes him waaayyy bigger, I can't think of what it's called though.

His dad weighs 247lbs. The first time I saw him he was drinking out of a water bucket and couldn't really see his head. I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't a small horse.

Did you know that Great Danes eat less than any other dog breed? Also they are the most sluggish breed and thats why they make great apartment dogs.

This is true after they're a couple years old Smiley: tongue

Domino is the most hyper big dog I've even known.. and goes through a 50lb. bag of dog food per week and a half or so. He'll eat anything.

But yeah, the breeders said once he gets to be an adult he'll settle down a lot and just enjoy laying around the place. Thank God.

Kaain, do you mind if I ask how much you paid for him? Or, if he was given to you on a silver platter like everything else (I kid) how much he would be worth?
#50 Oct 25 2007 at 10:38 AM Rating: Good
I have a Dane question, do you have other pets (like cats) and do they all get along with one another?

I only paid $450 for him, but he's worth a LOT more than that.. I'm just not sure how much as I never asked the breeders what the original price was.

They said that they usually never even had to put up more than a single advertisement on some random internet board and an entire litter would be gone in days. But, for some reason, the particular litter mine came from didn't have a single sell in 12 weeks.

It was a 9 puppy litter and they already had 4 adults and all kinds of other dogs running around, so they had to cut the price down to a fraction (as they described it) of the regular price to get rid of them as they had no space for dogs that size.

One sec and I'll look up my login info to the site I used. It's a pay site, but has everything from hamsters to kangaroos for sale.
