I wish allakhazam would put up a site for vanguard for stragey. Like did for EQ or other games. Vanguard need one like other games.

You should PM Allakhazam about it. There must be something wrong with your account. If you don't get an answer right away, keep sending PMs until you do. Send them to Illia, Ralius, and Danalog too.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to post this on all the main game forums, and in =3, just to make sure an admin notices.

Well, again, the developers of Vanguard - one set of them, probably the original team, at a guess - refused to work with Alla's team to set up such a site here.

Since Vanguard has been sold, or tossed around like a hot potato, a couple of times I'm not sure which team it would have been. Post on their forum, whoever they are now, and ask if they're interested in working with this site. /shrug

I just don't see that happening.

I'd like to start a study on why people type like that. There's just no way anyone capable of operating a computer (enough to play an MMO, find their way to a gaming site's OoT board, and create their own thread) is that stupid. Not that any of that denotes a vast intelligence, but it shows more than what's required to tpye lik tis lol rit.?

Back in its development, Sigil made the choice to
(A) Not work with Allakhazam LLC in so far as help gathering the data required to build a site
(B) Refused to allow links to Allakhazam.com because they said that Alla's promoted gold/plat-buying
(C) Cancelled the beta account of most of the Alla staff, thus further complicating the task of gathering data the long way.

Allakhazam & staff were not exceptionally impressed with Vanguard in beta and felt that it probably wouldn't do well. So, given that Sigil was intentionally ******** with Alla and that the game wasn't great, it was decided that making a Vanguard site wasn't worth the effort and the time could be spent on other MMORPGs with less dick-headed management.

In retrospect, Alla made the right choice. Vanguard's launch fizzled and their population dropped like a stone. They're down to a couple servers. Given how few people play the game and how much work it'd be to start a site from scratch now, I doubt it'll ever happen.
