...is on TV right now. If you have never watched it, turn your channel on Nickelodeon right now. It's crazy and I have yet to figure out why it's marketted for children. It's trippy and probably would be extremely enjoyable to watch if you're drunk or on drugs.

I watched Happy Feet for the first time this weekend. I wanted to see it because the Religious Right made such a fuss over it, saying it was all a metaphor about homosexuality being "ok."

I didn't have too much of a problem with it right up until ol' Mumbles got caught and placed in a zoo.

Then he started hallucinating. I mean, it was like an acid trip (or what I've heard of them). And his mom melted. And then it got really weird.

I've yet to watch Happy Feet.. I also heard that it's supposed to be about Richard Pryor. Maybe we'll finally put it on our netflix cue and watch it. Though, either way, I highly doubt the target audience is going to notice such messages in it until much much later in their life.

Thats really wierd. I've watched it and the only messages that I seemed to get out of it was that humans are bad for the environment and that we should protect the penguins. The other message was that being handycapped was ok and we shouldn't look upon people different from themselves with such scorn.

I like Happy Feet! I rather enoyed the music in particular. I have no idea what else is going on in this thread.

I liked it right up until Mumbles had an acid trip and the humans could understand what the Penguins dancing meant.
