Surprised there's no "Change a Car Tire" in there. I know how to do maybe 15-18 of those. I've never backed up a trailer before, and would probably fail miserably.

Well, I fail at most of the car related ones :( I do know how to change a tire though. Also I'm a guy but I love to cook, so I pass that test too!

Hmm, I can do all of those and yet my husband is 17/25. Does this make me the man of the house?
I guess I better find a list of things all women should know, for my husband to start learning how to be useful.

Found it. 25 things women and my husband should know

I have never done the following, though I think I can figure out what to do for 6. I also assume 8 does not just mean replacing the outlet, which I could do, but rewiring the outlet from the breaker b/c of short.

19. Clean a Bolt-Action Rifle

8. Fix a Dead Outlet

6. Back Up a Trailer

3. Rescue a Boater Who Has Capsized

Not exactly an equivalent list, though. "Things I want you to know" does not equal "Things you should be able to do".

Step #1: Be sure the rifle isn't loaded

Step #2: until such time as you are sure the rifle isn't loaded, do not point the rifle at your head.

I don't think he knew it was loaded.
Maybe he took his own life.. I was like 6...
I was told he was cleaning his gun.

Sick joke... when i turned 16, my grandmother gave me one of his guns.
No idea if it was the "one"
I looked at the gun, then gave it to my father and said he could have it.

I just care not to know how to clean a gun.

Where exactly would you get that idea?

Besides, we never used a map and compass in 'Nam.

13 and 22 are the only ones I don't know how to do or haven't done.

#12 should be something EVERYONE knows how to do, regardless of sex. I have been CPR certified for almost 5 years now, never had to use it, but at least I know how.
