I find answering the door in full Goth gears and asking the annoying little turds if they wouuld like to "Join in the most holy ritual" does the trick.

I would do it if we had more kids in my neighborhood... As it is, I think I'd just sit there all night and fall asleep from boredom.

Calgary Flames. It's a hockey team.

They made the final in 2004, but did not win, to the dismay of all us Canucks :(

I can usually just scare them off by answering the door dressed as me.

The one I enjoyed the most was what I set up 2 years ago for Halloween to hand out candy.

I had set up a stuffed set of my clothes and spent a ridiculous amount of time making it look like it had my shape (as far as legs and arms and such), then I left it there for about 3 weeks before halloween. Then, the day of halloween, I got out and replaced the scarecrow with myself, complete with lots of straw covering my face.

Anyways, since I lived in a fairly small town at the time, all the kids in town saw that scarecrow a few times (I lived on the main road as well). In my lap was a huge bowl of candy with a sign attached to it, "Only take 1."

Of course, kids, being who they are, took more than one. When they did, I scared them Smiley: lol. I actually made one kid wet himself, which I feel kinda bad for, but I gave him a crapload of extra candy Smiley: blush.

Anyways, most of the kids really enjoyed it and it was fun for me too.

I think that my roomate had a blast one year hiding in the front bushes with one of the old bald man masks they sold. He'd jump out of the bushes every other group of trick or treaters. After a couple of hours even the News media were out front waiting for him to jump out and chase the kids.

I just answer the door naked, that usually works well enough.

Aww, you didn't rub their nose in it?

How are they ever going to learn if you don't punish them?

I have done the Gorilla suit one for a couple years now.

I live in a small town, so many times I know the kids who are trick or treating. If i know the kid or his parents well enough I'll drop out of the tree, bum rush the kid and carry him off someplace. One year I set up a bunch of mattresses on the other side of a tall fence, so I'd take the kidnapped kid and chuck him or her over the fence and climb over after them.

You know you are doing it right when you can get the older kids to wet 'em. Last year I managed to get a group of middle schoolers so worked up one of them pissed herself. ^^
