Having been through a drought with water rationing before, all I can say is "good luck". We used to catch shower water in a bucket to flush the toilet and wash clothes. It's not fun.

I don't have grass or children so it doesn't really hit me that hard since I only use water for dishes, laundry, doggie sustenance (sp?), light cooking, and showers. I imagine that for some people it is horrible though. If I had a lawn and flowers and stuff then I would probably be a bit more bitter. There is not a bottle of water to be had in any grocery store anywhere around me. The soda machines are all out of water too. There was a 30 minute wait at the water fill station at the grocery store, blue ridge mountain water or something like that that you can refill. It's craziness around here. Very similiar to when a single snowflake falls and people rush to the store for bread. What I want to know is why bread?

Bread fills you up. When they are snowbound in their houses for three months out of the year down there in Atlanta (happens here in Tennessee, too) they don't want to feel those hunger pains that remind them they are trapped. Trapped like animals.
