Just to throw something into the male/female "equality" debate:
How come women can have abortions, but men can't? Now, obviously, I understand that the woman carries the baby, but this is what I mean:
Let's say there's a young 16 year old couple. They do the stupid thing and have sex without a condom and have a baby. Now, if the girl feels like she can't handle the baby, or just doesn't want it, she can have an abortion and be rid of the responsibility.
However, a man is totally confined to whatever decision the woman decides to make. If HE doesn't want the baby and doesn't want to pay child support or even deal with the baby at all, he has no recourse; he's forced to pay child support until that baby is 18.
Now, why can't a man have an "abortion"? Wherein he could absolve all responsibility and go on his way as if the child was never born? A woman has that choice; if she doesn't want the baby and the man does, she can have an abortion; if she wants the baby and he doesn't, he's still stuck paying for it.
Now, this isn't to say that men and woman are equal, or that women don't get the short end of the stick (ha!) from time to time, but I'd say my example is a pretty glaring example of how guy's can get screwed over too.
And back to what I said earlier about black people: Stereotypes don't make themselves. I don't think that anybody who's being TRULY honest can say that if all the black people and white people in America were given a standardized test that black people would score better; you and I both know what the results would be.
Please don't give me that tired old "Standardized testing is racist" ********* There's nothing racist about math questions. Black people don't have an unfair disadvantage when it comes to education either. I grew up in the projects and my elementary/high school was the poorest in the state and I still got into college and got As and Bs all through my schooling life.
