Black people are dumbFollow

people. are. NOT. equal.

whether because of sex, race, or anything else, people are NOT equal.

some people are stupid, some are smart. some people are fast, some are slow. some people are strong, some are weak. some people are crazy, some are not. some people are ARE BETTER THEN OTHERS (at some things).

to say any of these reasons are because of sex, is completely retarded.

however, race can be a factor. race won't CAUSE you to be stupider, weaker, crazier, or anything else. but if for example one race decides to kill every person (in that race) that isn't determined to be atleast however inteligent they decide, and another race doesn't, then the first race will most likely end up being more inteligent.

a real example is blacks have a different bone structure, which gives an advantage to running speed.

is bill gates - someone who was smart enough to write a major OS from scratch - "equal" to someone not smart enough to get up in the morning, and get to their job, without getting lost? i don't think so

lol..... the phrase "All men are created equal" is not meant to be taken literally as you clearly have done.

It means that no person is defective strictly by way of color of the skin, the tools in their toolbox, the language they speak, or the country they come from. It's a really vague way of saying "Don't discriminate", and is not meant to say that all people are of equal intelligence or capability.

Edit: the irony of the inclusion of such a mantra on one of our country's founding documents is that its creators themselves did not follow it true to heart (hi2u slaves)

No

Bill Gates < to someone not smart enough to get up in the morning, and get to their job, without getting lost.

Bill Gates is "less than" or worse than someone not smart enough to get up in the morning and do their job without getting lost? I know people hate the guy, but is that really what you intended to say?

Actually Bill Gates didn't write an OS from scratch, he bought it for $500, and modified it. He was smart in that instead of selling the OS he rented it out to hardware companies and collected royalties on every PC sold. Bill Gates is excellent in business, not neccessarily a good software developer.

You seem like an idiot. I don't mean that to be mean... well, yes I do.

Do you honestly think that "We are all equal" actually means that everyone is completely the same? No. It means that a black person who can do the same job as a white person is equal. It means that a woman who does the same job as a man is an equal.

It means that a race, gender, sexual orientation or religious affiliation doesn't make you less of a human being than anothe race, gender, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation.

Why do you assume that I am reacting emotionally? Is it because I'm a woman?

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Seriously, though, why?

I can't believe it took that long for someone to do that :D

And yet you still haven't answered my question.

I missed this somehow.

There is no assuming: everyone I've argued with has reacted emotionally. Logic vs. emotion is not a fair fight. It has nothing to do with the fact that you're a woman, unless you're suggesting that women react to everything emotionally? :o

Erm, no.

You haven't been arguing logic, dear. There is no proof, nor is it logical, that a woman is, simply by being a woman, better at raising a child than a man.

If we are guilty of arguing "emotion" simply because we have a different opinion than you, then you are guilty of the same.

Yep. You assume I am reacting emotionally because I disagree with you. You have no idea what you are talking about. You can't see me, or know how I am reacting. What I've said has been logical, you just don't agree. Also, how do you explain the times that I agreed with you?

You can give me as many Brittney Spears examples as you like; historically women have been the raisers of children. Did this just magically appear out of nowhere? Did centuries of male oppression bring this about?

No. Watch the Discovery Channel. Lions know what the hell I'm talking about.

When lions develop opposable thumbs I'll start taking child care advice from them. In the mean time, carnivores dining on freshly killed gazelles can just keep their opinions to themselves. Deal?

Historically, black people have been slaves. Historically, women were nothing more than chattel to be sold to their husbands. Historically, men in rome showed prestige by the amount of young boys they got to ****.

So what? That doesn't mean much, does it?

So far we can blame Lions, God and the Tooth Fairy for blackies being stupid and walking pussies being inferior.

Is that all?

See, we have finally come around to an issue that has been gnawing me for some time.

We humans somehow see ourselves as "better" than the creatures around us, even better than the creatures we used to be (and I mean past humans, not necessarily monkeys, thats another kettle of fish entirely).

Meanwhile, society is going to hell in a handbasket. Coincidence?

We feel the need to develop religion as a way to handle our ever-increasingly intelligent minds' gaps in knowledge.

Later, people kill each other because they don't believe the same things.

We feel the need to suppress eons of instinct in favor of neither parent raising our children properly.

Result: gang violence, teen pregnancy, rampant drug abuse, stupidity.

Meanwhile, mice grow up to know exactly how to be a mouse.

Is our society really 'better' than the animal kingdom? Look around and give me an honest answer.

As much as your waxing poetic sounded good, the same problems have been around for centuries.

Humans have always used religion to fill whatever void they wanted filled. They have always killed each other because they don't believe the same things.

This is not happening now simply because women want to work.

The religion part was just another example of humans going against instinct.

I have also realized that we're arguing about 2 sides of the same issue. I'm not against women working, I'm against children being raised by no one. You're not against raising children, you're against women being forced to be the one to do it.

Neanderthals knew how to be natural men. Are we worse off than Neanderthals, or better?

Go live in a cave for a few years and post back and let us know.

Yes, yes, we now have air conditioning and According to Jim and all that.

But are we really better off? Why are we all posting on these forums while we're supposed to be working?
