I'm sure she was hitting on you.

I'm not sure if the rest of you think forum drama is funny or entertaining, but I only find it boring and annoying. So now it is lecture time.

Please grow up. I realise that is a phrase uttered so often that everyone has become entirely numb to it, but it fits. I should not have to be telling people older than I am to act like an adult. This statement really goes out to a lot of people.

So how do mature people act?

Adults attack ideas and not people. It is incredibly immature to project your feelings on what a person is discussing onto that person. I can make an argument for communism without being a communist. Be mature enough to acknowledge that others deserve a certain amount of respect in arguments and show them that which is due.

Adults keep matters contained in the thread they began. When someone calls you a name in the "How cute is your pet," thread you deal with the matter in that thread. you don't let the feud spill over to other threads where that poster has commented and you certainly do not start an entirely new thread about your grudge. If you have to deal with the person outside of the context of the thread take it to pms.

Adults show restraint and prudence. There's a cupcake in front of you, how hard is it to just not eat it? You don't like someone? fine, but don't antagonize them. You either try to resolve your differences with the person or resign yourself to disliking them, but you do not take every little chance to start a fight with them. Being an opportunist means you have no will power.

So here are the options present to all of you. Either try an act civil as much as possible (I know we all need to just vent and let loose some times) or be lectured again and again. The first couple of times you probably won't care, but believe me it will get really old reading my commentary really fast.

Just to clarify Dyadem, in case you happened to feel offended, that post was not targeted to everyone who has been just messing around in this thread discussing vaginas and kinko's. It was only addressing those who start up drama.

Ok that helps my ego a bit...(if this next part ever gets out i'll deny it of course)..It is never my intention to be malicious or offensive...just to be prickish and snyde...but never to truly offend anyone. And as for drama, I've spent enough time in gay bars to know that I dont want any part of it.

Seriously people who teach anatomy are some of the freakiest people there are. I've worked with some of them and they've got a great sense of humour about it all. And almost all of them are freaky that way.

It's not that I keep missing it, its just that I'm not smart enough or have the "reading comprehension" to see it. So it's not like it matters.

Oh dear god is this thread old...and dumb.

Can we just go onto other threads at this point?

Hellboy was /butthurt, and now AD is /butthurt, so the thread accomplished its purpose about 2 pages ago.

On to more relevant (and god forbid interesting) topics that don't involve hellboy OR dorkette.

I also apologize that you have no real way of venting at me, so you must ascertain another way to go about it, and that's where my maturity comes into play. I see right through it, and frankly, it makes me LOL at you even more, to know that you would even go such a route.

Let me rephrase:

Based on what I've seen of your posts in here in general, anyone expecting maturity from you here is an idiot.

Based on your posts everywhere else, the only other possible conclusion is that you're wasting your maturity on the rest of those bastards. Smiley: laugh

Well, somebody's got to, and it's getting old when it's only Singdall and Joph.

And Allegory, who I suspect is just trolling when he does it.
