Let's start out easy:
"Hello, my name is XXX"
"Hej, mit navn er XXX"
Hej = Hallo
mit = my/mine
navn = name
er = is

Dutch is a mix of French, German, English and Scandinavian languages.
So yeah, we sound a bit like the Dutch people, but we don't understand a word they say.

So many languages look a lot like Dutch is't not funny anymore.
Personally, I speak Dutch, French, English, a bit of German and just enough Spanish to find the nearest lavatory without shaking my loins.
