Bah those no talent hacks Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson are not done raping the s[sm][/sm]hit out of Dune.

They plan on following up the abysmal prequels to the series with a 7th and 8th book for the Dune series based on a outline left by Frank Herbert before he died.

Rargh, fear my righteous fan boy hatred.

I hate when someone jumps on the bandwagon and tries to *expand* on an idea from another writer. Only the original writer knows what he wants to do with it.

Just because his father wrote an exceptional story doesnt mean he could write his way out of a paper bag. Also any SW fan that read the Jedi Academy series by Anderson know what a complete shit writer he is.

The two hack writers together combine to produce a level of crapiness rarely seen even in Nancy Drew novels.

First of all: who are Brian Herbert, Kevin J. Anderson, Frank Herbert and Dune?

Second of all: what series? is Dune the series?

Third of all: what does Abysmal mean?

1) Frank Herbert is the author of a novel called Dune, and 3 sequels to the book. Brian Herbert is Franks son, and he is working with an author Kevin J. Anderson on offshoots of the Dune books and also to finish the series.

2) Dune is the first book in the series, and the series is usually refered to as the Dune series since it does not have a series name.

3)Main Entry: abys·mal
Pronunciation: &-'biz-m&l, a-
Function: adjective
1 a : having immense or fathomless extension downward, backward, or inward <an abysmal cliff> b : immeasurably great : PROFOUND <abysmal ignorance> c : immeasurably low or wretched <abysmal living conditions of the poor>
2 : ABYSSAL
- abys·mal·ly /-m&-lE/ adverb
