Heres a quick question for informational reasons...
What do you guys have your desktop resolution set at? Mine is usually 800x600 but atm im experimenting with 1024x768. Also, does desktop resolution affect the resolution in EQ? I'm just curious what the majority of people use=)

One computer is 1280*1074
The other is 800*600
Both are at the highest the monitor will support.
As a general rule, never have a game at a higher resolution than your desktop. Also, bigger resolution means more video memory being used up.

1024 x 768 generally, and you can set the eq resolution independantly of the desktop resolution, but you will get better game performance if you match resolutions because windows maintians a desktop render at the same time.

Yeah, I just got my monitor. 20.1in Viewsonic VP201b, I also thought the 1600x1200 native resolution would make things way too small, but it looks very good.
