I must say that while I repect the original for being so groundbreaking (and best picture for 1976) I love and base my entire life on the teachings of Rocky IV. The first time I saw that movie I cried at the end when Rocky was draped in the American Flag.
It was great to see him overcome the hostile Soviets and then win them over with his determiniation and heart of gold. Rocky truly embodies the American spirit and dream in this film. Against unbeatable odds he defeated the super athlete Ivan Drago in the end after losing his dearest friend Apollo Creed.
Of all the sports movies out there I have ever watched, the Rocky movies will always be one of the greats. I was wondering what your favorite Rocky was?
BTW: My least favorite Rocky was Rocky V. I don't really have to explain why that movie sucked do I?

Rocky (the original Rocky...1976, Best Picture) should have been the only Rocky. The franchise sucks now, and Stallone should be hung up in a beam over pool of sharks with frickin lasers on thier heads.
