yes, plenty of people have died. Including my friend's parents. I was hoping to come here looking for a little relief from the craziness of the past few weeks...but I can't believe your attitude.

greetings from Okeechobee, Florida. Yep. 2 direct hits from hurricanes and I'm able to post this with the power from our gas-powered generator. Well, me and my friends miss FFXI (-------------This Much----------) and hope to be back soon.

The power is supposedly going to be restored by Oct. 12th, so we still have a ways to go. Btw, I read some of the CoP posts and I saw some idiots trying to lay a guilt trip on people for not having power....which is sooo dumb. If anyone should be laying a guilt trip it's people like us who have gone through 2 eye walls in the past 4 weeks. I vote that everyone should play guilt-free...I mean...you guys need to play twice as hard for us that don't have generators....we'll be back asap and join in the CoP fun soon enough!!! :)

Well, I'm going to play FFXI for a little while *cheers* before the rest of my family hounds me to use the computer. We have phone lines *obviously*...hmm, not much else to say but that everyone is pretty much safe and sound here in FLA...except still waiting on power.
