Need Help! Plz Answer!Follow

My friend's pc's default installation drive is C:/ (a very small drive like 13gigs) He dosent have enough room to install CoP there (his D drive has 100gigs) so i wanted his game to install on the D drive instead of the C. Well in the actual install it doesnt let u do that (says not enough room right after u agree to the terms) so i went to run, regedit,HKEY LOCAL MACHINE blah blah and ended up in the current version folder and changed the ProgramFilesDir from C:\Program Files to D:\Program Files restarted but it still didn't work. Plz help him install CoP to the D: Drive! Thanks!

copy the original PlayOnline folder onto the D drive.. anywhere but not in "program files"

now uninstall FFXI

now Reinstall FFXI onto the D Drive
once installed.. locate the NEW PlayOnline folder... and overwrite it with the OLD folder
run PlayOnline make sure it checks for updates ( it wont need to download any as the files are upto date)
now install CoP

that will work..
