I guess ill wait for them to send me stuff for my birthday

You don't have to buy one you know. I still have an old brass razor with the disposable flat blades. Don't use it much except when I find myself out of my usual stock but it still cuts facial hair (and face if you're not careful).

I usually get fancy blades around birthdays and Christmas and use cheap disposables the rest of the time.

First they came out with two blades.

Then three blades.

But that's as good as it gets....right?!

WRONG!!!

Get the new Shick Quattro! The only razor with 4 blades!

Damn, there was a brillant article on the Onion awhile ago where I think they had the president of bic (made up of course) saying **** it we're going to 5 blades.

EDIT: I wanted to post it but apparently I have to pay 30 bucks to be a preimum member and that's bull.

I bought my boyfriend the Mach 3 Power about 2 months ago and he really likes it. Says the vibration actually seems to get a closer shave, and doesn't feel so harsh. (I noticed when he shaves with it his skin is nice and soft and during the process of shaving the sound of the hairs being cut doesn't sound as painful as the disposables do)

So my suggestion, get a girlfriend that will buy these things for you!

=p

I think my wife might complain if I followed up on your suggestion, Buttacup! Smiley: laugh

One of the skits on the very first SNL was about introducing a new three blade razor. I don't think two blade had come out yet. To paraphrase the whole skit, "we love you. America. You'll buy anything"

The mach 3 blade is the best shave I have ever had. I don't use the vibrate function, but the blades themselves are worth it for me.

I made a 5 blade razor and cut myself up good..

I have one and they work very well. I suggest using a good brand of shaving cream/lotion. I use a brand from Lush. Its kinda pricey but damn does my mug look good.

Yeah probably....Maybe you should hint to her that you want one...if you're good, perhaps you'll have one in your stocking Christmas morning.

If you're really good maybe she'll dress up in a skimpy Mrs. Clause outfit to pass your presents to you!

Now if I thought I could find a wife that would get me a girlfriend AND dress up in the Ms. Claus outfit, I'd get married right away!

I have been using the Mach3 (no vibrator) for about a year now and have to admit that its one of the best shaves I've ever had. Too bad the accursed blades are so pricey. That'll bankrupt a brother. They're only good for 1 shave before I have to toss em. My problem is that my facial hair has the thickness of pencil lead. :(

Its fugging ridiculous the number of blades they are sticking now. How close do you want a damn shave? Any closer you'll be better off giving a machete to a blind man and telling him to chop on...
I'll just stick to stealing my brothers blades, no ******* way am i paying £9.99 for a bunch of blades...

Reminds me of the Mach 14 razor from that skit on Mad TV. ...the 10th blade gives you a real close shave. The 11th blade gets even close, giving your chin a smooth feeling. The new 12th blade cuts your whisker down even more. The 13th blade cuts even closer, and the final, 14th blade cuts even closer than that...

The Mach3 is such a sham. ^_* They say in the commercials that more blades means fewer strokes, which means less razor burn or whatever. Adding another blade to the razor makes the stroke from that razor more damaging! I use it anyway because it looks cool. (._.)

Also, have you noticed that every day there's a new AA-battery-powered vibrator on the market disguised as a household product?

- Toothbrushes
- Lollipops (rotators-same thing)
- Hair trimmers

I think females are taking over the durable goods market.

The First blade on The Mach 3 give you a close shave.

The Second Blade on the Mach 3 gives You a Smooth and an even closer shave making your 5 O'clock shadow come late.

And the Last Blade of the Mach 3 Yells at your Wife not To use Your damn Razor.

Personally I was a Tracer fan until I bit the bullet and bought a Mach 3. Let me tell you, it's a better shave.

Yes, they're good if you're rushed for time, but they typically do not offer as close a shave as safety razors. I've been told the closest shave can be had from a straight razor, but I'm not messin around with one.

I was thinking about buying this one to replace my exsisting Mach 3.

It vibrates.

Maybe if I just drink a gallon of coffee before I shave, my current razor would vibrate too.

And I save money in the process.

I've been using electric shaver for a month, and I like it.

It feels better after you're done, even though its not the closest shave you can get.
