Ran patch and now i am having problems running it in windows mode. A window pops up and tells me that a video card update/download is recomended: 6177 in fact, it gives me a link to nvidia, a remind me option and a proceed option. I selected the link to nvidia and cannot find down load 6177. Then I try to run eq windows and it wont load the opening screen. What is Hades is going on.....

Please, SOE gods, i don't want to study....

Keep surfing the site... click on the "download" button over to the right of the window. It will lead you to the 61.77 download. Just make sure that you know where you are downloading to. You will need to go into Device Manager, and delete the current version of your video card drives, then install the new one. The download was three and a half hours on my dial-up connection, but the improvement on the quality of the graphics in the game is amazing!
