So my first day back for my third year, i had to relearn an old lesson the hard way.
Have all your shit together before you get there. I forgot to get Inconsequential Form A stamped by the right person and it turns out Inconsequential Form A is very consequential.
So i go into Line Up 1 to get form stamped and wait for 2 hours, only to be told i need fill out another completely different form in order to have Inconsequential Form A stamped.
So go to lineup 2 and wait 20 minutes get form B filled out, go back to line up 1 ready to have Inconsequential Form A stamped. I wait for 2 more hours. Just as i get to be 1st person in line the beauracratic ******* that is doing the paper work takes a break. 30 minutes he comes back and we spend 10 minutes hashing out the facts and despite some disputes i get my Inconsequential Form A stamped only to be told i now have to goto line up 4 and get another form filled out.
I goto line up 4 and no one is there. Must be my lucky day? Nope the office closed just as i got there so i have to go repeat the process tomorrow.
I look at the clock and its 15 minutes till i have to work so i hustle it and manage to be 14 seconds early.
The craptastic part of this is i have no one but myself to blame. If i had taken the time back in July to do it right instead of fooling around i would be set and it would have taken 30 minutes total.
