Big ATI supporter here... and ATI does it again with their nre release the "catalyst control center" is a new tool they are releasing to give users an easier time in setting up preferemces, etc.

all i can say is i jusr downloaded it and installed everything and final fantasy is running so good.. a huge performance boost.

i highly suggest to download and install this asap.

notes: first uninstall your previous driver/control panet ATI
second make sure you install the microsoft net framework or you will get an error message "application could not load properly"/

then set your setting to your liking and smooth sailing from there.

very happy with this reelease.

Why don't you run a 101. IP scan on it and see if the ATI.com domain means it's really from ATI or not.

i am also on the 9700 pro model.. ATI always does a great job on their driver releases but i think this is a step above.. i love this new control center thing.. and the whole thing is so stable now and so smooth.
