Sup all.

I just wanted to know the specs of everyone's computers. My reasoning for this is because I'm currently creating a module using Neverwinter Nights' Aurora engine. There are couple of areas where the game slows down, and it was starting to **** me off, because I want the module to be perfect (or close to it).

Then I began to think that it might not be a problem, seeing as I have an old computer, and that hopefully, the majority of people have better machines.

Speaking of which, here are my specs on the machine I am currently creating and testing the module on (if I'm missing anything important, let me know):

AMD Athlon 1000 XP
426 M Of Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 2 (64MB)

I would really appreciate if whoever reads this takes a couple of minutes to post their specs. It would really help me with the construction of my mod.

Thank you for your time...

Wouldn't it be better to recommend specs, rather than just post our own?

Huh? I must not be on the same page as you.

Essentially, I'm just trying to see what types of machines people have. If I get 25 out of 30 people saying that their machines are basically twice as good as mine, maybe it means I shouldn't worry about my game slowing down in certain parts on my machine (upgrading soon anyhow), since the majority of people downloading it will have better systems than me. I know

Now, I understand that whatever results I get aren't going to represent every person with a computer, but I was just kinda curious.

I'm just a little in the dark about how good other people's machines are.

And to the other guy who said "Welcome to 98", lol, I know it isn't the most powerful engine, but it is enough for me to create my own fantasy game.

Just go to http://nwvault.ign.com/index2.shtml. You would be surprised at how many people create/play mods for NWN. Some people have gotten jobs at Bioware because of mods they made.

Sigh, I figured I wouldn't get all the smart asses if I posted at night:) Learned my lesson:)

P.S. Anyone know if Tsetsuo still posts? Been a while since I been to this site...

Oh, I thought you were asking for advice...didn't realize you were surveying potential users.

I'm running a TI-83 Graphing Calculator that I installed Linux on.

I doubt the veracity of your method because the pool of people you're sampling is not the general public. I also doubt the veracity of any poll, because polls only reflect the opinions of people who answer polls.

But, I'm a cooperative sort of chap, so here goes:

Thanks for the helpful (non-sarcastic) info:)

Also, to the last poster, I know I cannot really take these results to heart (so to speak), but it is still interesting...

Some.. uh.. speakers. A keyboard. A cheap-*** monitor I bought at a discount warehouse store for about $70 and an IBM mouse with a blue glowing scroll wheel that pisses me off.

No idea what my motherboard, etc is nor do I imagine it matters much for a Neverwinter Night game.
