Somethings that work for me when i have insomnia:
1.Quit drinking anything with Caffiene in it 2 hours before bedtime.
2.Same as above but cut replace caffiene with Junk food or excessive amounts of sugar. (eat right, poor diet aint good for you or your sleep).
3.No death metal before bedtime
4.Get out and excercise, do something physical during the day. If your just sitting around playing video games or in a desk you aint doin anything to get tired. (you dont have to get a gym membership just go for a walk or doing some sit ups and push ups in privacy of your own room)
5.Find a movie/cd that you can fall asleep to. For me its the Sci-Fi Channel Mini-series of Dune. The part when Chani realizes Paul has taken the water of life and i fall asleep everytime.
6.Read a book. A good thing to do even if you dont have insomnia but it does help get to sleep.
7.Turn off that Videogame/TV. I always find that videogames and TV keep me from sleeping. Im always like "one more level" before i go to bed and before i know it, its 8am. Tv i just go from one show until the next until its 3am and im stuck in infomercial hell.
Dunno thats just some stuff that works for me. Sometimes one thing wont and another will. As for sex, ive never found it to make me sleepy either with or without a partner.
