Picard any day of the week.

Word, the series is dead. Take Enterprise off the air, and dont make another series or movie for 10 years and i might be able to stomach it.

Oh there's no comparison. It's Picard all the way. Btw if you're bored and like PIcard, check this song out. Alittlelong but entertaining nonetheless.

Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

There's no contests. Its gotta be Picard. Your definetly right about killing Enterprise. I bet Rodenberry is rolling over in his grave over some of the shows coming out with his name on them. Ex. Enterprise, and Andromeda.

During peacetime, Picard is more efficient, but in a crisis Kirk would be better. Given the degree of danger the Enterprise is constantly in, Kirk is the clear choice. However, these are fictional characters played by actors. The actor for Picard was far better, but that doesn't mean the actions of the character were.

I am aware that Star Trek is dead, but let's ignore that fact for now, shall we?

  • Better acter: Patrick Stewart
  • Sex appeal: Patrick Stewart/Picard (I usually prefer younger men but I'd make an exception for him. Smiley: inlove)
  • Likability: Kirk
  • Cheese factor: Kirk/Bill Shatner
  • More Captainlike: Picard

  • So Picard wins for me.

Picard is also Professor Charles Xavier, the most powerful telepathic mind on Earth.

Shatner is also....um...the Priceline dude. And he was in "Kingdom of the Spiders".

Picard wins, but Star Trek still sucksSmiley: grin

In terms of shagability, I would have to go with a young Capt Kirk.

    Neither, young Traci Lords.

Sir Kastigir has a point. Sisko would beat them both, but he wasn't on the list. So, it really doesn't matter.

Picard would be a better negotiator, better administrator. Kirk is the person I would rather have next to me in matters of life and death. Of course, Kirk's actions would be more likely to lead to life and death situations...but if we're already in one it's Kirk all the way.

Anyway, they are both fictional and thus as helpful as Batman vs. Superman in terms of captaining a ship.

Hey, wait a minuet, Tarv actually is in the Navy right? And a bunch of people have military experience. Likely they would know better then I.

Compairing Star Trek to the real military is not reasonable, if my captain did that much work he would have an appauling report because of lack of delligation.

Commanding Officers are there to Command not to get dirty.

Picard is more realistic <if only slightly so>.

The fact that they only ever had one 'Rating' in Star Trek is pretty bad. Poor O'brian.
