Alien or Predator? and Why?



I originaly liked Alien for a silly reason...I had an action figurine that spat water when I was a kid.

Now I like Predator because his dreads are rockin' :P

Well if you've seen the later aliens movies (or read the AVP comics), you'll see that they aren't mindless. They do reason. But even so, the predators just have too much cool **** going for them. Number one being that reflective camoflouge thing.


Only problem is they keep coming to earth and getting ****** up. They need to stop sending the second team here.

I assumed it was the same underwear and just needed a good run through the wash

What amazes me is how s4!tty the publics taste in movies is. This movie was horrible. Let's examine why:

1.) All other previous Predator and Alien and movies were "R", this one was "PG-13."
2.) No large epic battle between an army of Aliens Vs and army of predators - less than 10 of each against each other.
3.) Wasn't even reviewed by many major media outlets, because they weren't given an advanced screening. This usually means it's pretty bad. Those that did review it gave it no more than 2/4 stars. Rottentomatoes gave it 15% - OUCH!

Despite all of this, it still opened @ no. 1 in the box office last weekend with 38 million. But then again, it didn't have much competition - YuGiOh! and Princess Diaries 2 were the only new movie competition. It'll tank the 2nd week just like Village did.

thats a really tough question.

Aliens are not, and i repeat NOT mindless killers. They're methodical, hive minded creatures which serve as an extension of their queen. They're scary fast, and can do amazing amounts of damage with thier claws, and tail.

Predators on the other hand, are honor based hunters with huge amounts of technology at their disposal, as well as uber fighting skills.

I think ultimately it would come down to a draw unless the predator killed the queen.

Puh-lease. The Aliens can and do kick everybody's a$$es. It's only through luck that humanity survives their continued attempts to turn them into biological war machines.

As for the Predators, cover yourself in mud and voila! You're invisible to them! Their only advantage is the mini-nukes they carry around on their forearms.

I'll got with Aliens. I wouldn't mind having one for a pet. Of course, he'd have to stay outside; I have carpet.

Predator all the way! Come on, the thing can go invisible mode, if I was a predator, I'd let all the other ones fight it out while I would be sneaking into all the girls showers at all the collleges.

ALIENS they got a breeding machine wich is constantly spiting out new drones to enrich their army

wouldnt the perfect hunter just lead to self destruction? they basicly kill everythingwich comes in their path so the natural eco system gets unbalanced and in 2 years all that are left are aliens on land in the seas and who knows in a movie or 2 even in the air so will they resort to canibalizm?

Picard. No question about it. The bald man is a better actor than Kirk. And he rules that bridge with kickass authority.

Now that's not fair. One of the Aliens' advantage are the shear numbers they come in. That's like saying that if Predator had no weapons, they wouldn't have lost as much.
